Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of deli items, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling products when appropriate. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli area, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Perform basic maths calculations for weighing and pricing items accurately. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed. Support kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation tasks as required.

Skills

Basic maths skills for accurate pricing and portioning of deli items. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Culinary skills that demonstrate an understanding of food preparation techniques. Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting. Excellent communication skills to provide outstanding customer service and assist colleagues effectively. A proactive attitude towards helping customers and enhancing their dining experience.

Hours

No evenings! Varying shifts between 6:30am-4pm Weekend availability
