We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of deli products. Duties

Assist customers with their deli orders, providing knowledgeable recommendations and upselling products where appropriate. Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and sanitised. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure the availability of fresh products. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during busy periods, demonstrating excellent time management skills. Adhere to all food safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; we are willing to train the right candidate. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices is advantageous. A strong understanding of food safety standards is beneficial. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service are essential for success in this role. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
