Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of deli products, ensuring freshness and quality. Supervise and manage team members, fostering a positive work environment. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli area in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with food production tasks, including cooking and food preparation. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as necessary. Train new staff members on deli operations, food safety practices, and customer service standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Experience

Previous experience in a deli or restaurant setting, showcasing culinary skills and food preparation knowledge. Supervising experience is advantageous, demonstrating leadership capabilities in managing a team. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices is essential. A background in hospitality or kitchen experience will be beneficial for this role.
