Deli Counter Assistant
Job Description
We are looking for a new member of staff to join our busy team. The ideal candidate must be hard-working, reliable, cheerful, patient and be able to work under pressure as this is a very busy area of the shop.
Hours are set as follows: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 9am-3.30pm (26 hours) plus one Saturday in every 4 8am-3pm (33 hours)
Experience in both food preparation & customer service required. Duties include preparation of fresh food, cash handling, stock control, cleaning & above all, able to work as part of a team. Applicants should hold a Level 2 in Food Hygiene or be willing to undertake this qualification once started.
Start date January 2026

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
