We are seeking a friendly and efficient Deli Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of fresh deli products, ensuring high standards of food safety and customer service. Responsibilities

Prepare a range of deli products including sandwiches, salads, and cold cuts in accordance with company standards. Serve customers efficiently and courteously, providing excellent customer service at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli area, adhering to food safety regulations. Restock shelves and display cases as needed to ensure product availability and visual appeal. Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies when necessary. Upsell products to maximise sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for staff and customers. Manage cash register operations accurately during transactions.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and inventory management are required. Experience in kitchen environments or culinary roles is desirable. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently. Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
