The Deli Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations within the deli at The Nook on Five. This position oversees food preparation, quality, and presentation while maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment for customers. The Deli Supervisor is responsible for leading a team, upholding food safety standards, and supporting management in achieving operational and customer service goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day deli operations, ensuring consistency in service and product quality.
Train, schedule, and support deli team members to meet performance and service expectations.
Monitor food preparation, portioning, and presentation to maintain brand standards.
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Manage inventory, monitor waste, and assist with ordering supplies.
Resolve customer inquiries or issues promptly and professionally.
Support management in meeting sales targets and operational goals.
Foster a positive team environment that emphasizes customer service and efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience in a deli, cafe, or food service supervisory role.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Customer-focused mindset with a hands-on approach.
Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
