The Meatery is a butchers shop in Gainsborough with a fantastic reputation, and now moving into new premesis at 6 Market Place.

One full time salaried position of 42 hours per week.

Candidate must have proven experience of working in a food retail environment with some cooking experience - this position will inclide baking pies and light cooking duties.

We're looking for friendly, reliable and hands-on individuals to join our team as a Butcher's Shop Deli Supervisor.

The ideal candidates will:

Have experience working with food, ideally in a deli, cafe, or similar environment Be confident handling and presenting food safely and hygienically Be comfortable baking off pies and other deli items Take pride in cleanliness and presentation Be confident in a customer-facing role Be a team player with a strong work ethic. Have previous customer service experience This role will inclide cashing up, being a key holder, and working extra on occasions to benefit the business.

Duties will include:

Baking off pies and other deli items for sale Serving customers at the counter Stocking and rotating produce Cleaning and maintaining display counters and workspaces Supporting the team with general shop duties Managing stock control and cost control on the cooked section.
This is a daytime-only role, working Tuesday to Saturday, with Sundays and Mondays off every week.

Hours will be between 7.30am and 5pm

We will put you through your food hygiene certification if you do not already have it, and relevant experience is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 27,000.00 per year
