ABOUT THE ROLE - DELICATESSEN ASSISTANT

At Lina Stores, we believe in Hospitality at Heart. As a Delicatessen Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering warm, generous, and knowledgeable service to every guest.


Your responsibilities will include:


Preparing and serving coffee, food, and deli products Selling retail items and sharing product knowledge with customers Supporting food preparation and presentation Maintaining outstanding deli displays and counter presentation Assisting with stock control and deliveries Upholding food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards Working across a rota including early, late, and weekend shifts

IDEAL CANDIDATE - WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Experience in a deli, cafe, restaurant, or retail food environment Passion for Italian food and hospitality Confident communicator with fluent English Friendly, customer-focused, and naturally welcoming Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment Team player with a positive, proactive attitude Kitchen or food preparation experience is a plus Strong awareness of food hygiene and safety standards Flexible availability to work mixed shifts, including weekends
