to cover fuel expenses.
This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Responsibilities
Operate your own vehicle safely and responsibly during deliveries.
Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise time and fuel efficiency.
Communicate with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules or potential issues.
Perform routine checks on your vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Maintain accurate delivery records, including paperwork and logs.
Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Delivery Driver is preferred.
Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
Own vehicle in good condition and suitable for delivery use.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Basic mechanical knowledge is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
