About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented

Delivery/Distribution Planner

to join our growing logistics team at

JD.com

. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimising delivery and distribution operations to ensure timely and cost-effective service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and schedule delivery routes and distribution activities using advanced logistics systems. Monitor and adjust delivery schedules in real-time to respond to changes in demand or unforeseen delays. Liaise with warehouse teams, transport partners, and customer service to ensure smooth operations. Analyse delivery performance data to identify areas for improvement. Optimise route planning for efficiency, fuel savings, and on-time delivery. Maintain accurate records of shipments, delivery times, and transport costs. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in logistics, distribution planning, or transport coordination. Strong knowledge of route planning software and supply chain systems. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with WMS/TMS systems is a plus. A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
