Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to manage time effectively while adhering to delivery schedules.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as necessary while maintaining safety standards. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies encountered during transport. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from recipients in a professional manner. Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock.

Experience

Familiarity with driving regulations and safe driving practices is required. Experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous, particularly in relation to loading and unloading goods. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands associated with the role is important.
