Job Description

The Flour Pot Bakery is a family owned independent artisan bakery in Brighton & Hove, specialising in long fermented sourdough, yeasted breads and viennoiserie. We serve 12 of our own Flour Pot shops in the city and a growing wholesale customer base that appreciate the best quality hand-crafted products.

Who we are looking for:

Reliable and punctual, well presented and possesses good communication skills. An excellent level of English is a pre-requisite for this position A considerate driver and can offer great customer service by delivering products to customers in a timely and professional manner You will be a team player and be always proactive in helping the kitchen management team out at any given time during your working day

What you will do:

The driving aspect of the job will make up the majority of your shift, during quieter weeks we will require to you to help with you production, including assembling sandwiches, filled pastries and sausage rolls for example. Collect supplies from various outlets in and around Brighton Oversee the packing of the vans prior to delivery adhering strictly to customer orders Driving and delivering in and around Brighton and Sussex

Days and hours of work:

Up to 5 shifts per week (up to 35 hours per week), with a start time of 5am and a finish time of 12pm.

Please note our operation is 7 days a week. You will be required to work across all 7 days, including both weekend days.

Applicants must meet the following criteria

Be aged 26 years of age or older (for fleet insurance purposes) Hold a valid full UK Driving License Have no more than three current penalty points on their driving license Must not have a current drunk driving conviction Due to the early starts you are required to get to work under your own initiative The business is based in Portslade

Pay: 13.50-14.00 per hour
