We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate deliveries.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. Load and unload goods from the vehicle, performing heavy lifting when necessary. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers to coordinate delivery schedules. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and maintenance standards are met. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered. Provide exceptional customer service during each delivery, addressing any questions or concerns promptly. Assist in warehouse duties as required, including inventory management and organisation of goods.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving is advantageous. Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Familiarity with local roads and routes is beneficial for efficient navigation. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence.
