Job Description

Ruby & White are looking for an experienced and professional delivery driver to join their transport team.

We need a punctual & polite person to help provide exceptional service to our customers.

We supply a large number of pubs, restaurants, hotels and caterers in Bristol and the surrounding area. Our product range is extensive and we pride ourselves on quality, consistency and our ability to prepare customer orders to their exact requirements and specifications.

What your day would typically look like:
- Pack your van securely and sensibly with the days orders (some lifting will be required)
- Work with our Transport Manager to plan the most effective route for your deliveries
- Deliver to our customers throughout the South West, both wholesale and private orders, ensuring prompt and professional service while adhering to all road safety rules
- Communicate effectively with our Transport Manager and Wholesale team if there are any issues or concerns with a delivery, offering suggestions on what can be done to overcome these
- Clean and maintain your van ready for the next day, completing all required paperwork

The right person will:
- Be punctual and reliable
- Be calm under pressure
- Be polite, professional and helpful
- Hold a full, clean UK drivers license, with experience driving a van
- Have some familiarity with GPS devices or map apps
- Have a robust knowledge of road safety regulations and be able to follow them
- Be well presented and be an ambassador for our business

This will be a full time role, working five days from six, Monday to Saturday, however part time applicants will be considered. Flexibility will be required during peak times.
