About us

We are a close-knit and friendly family food service business based on the Rougham Industrial Estate, just outside Bury St Edmunds.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our small team of exceptional drivers delivering our food products around East Anglia on our branded vans.

Our drivers are an integral part of our team as they have frontline relationships with our customers which tend to be hotels, restaurants and cafes right across the East Anglian region.

As a small, family business, our drivers also support our warehouse team and are expected to work in the warehouse on a regular, rotational basis.

What the role entails:

Responsibility for delivering outstanding levels of customer service when on the road delivering to our many customers Checking off orders as delivered to customers, identifying any potential issues and liaising with Customer Support team to resolve the issues in real time Loading vehicle according to run order of assigned route, safely and appropriately Responsibility for maintaining vehicles and weekly inspection of vehicle Work closely with Marketing and Customer Support teams to ensure we are always in the best place to go that extra mile for our customers Keeping company vehicle clean and well stocked Report any issues with vehicles General warehouse duties such as picking and goods in as needed, with occasional shifts in the Warehouse

What you'll need:

A full, clean driving license Strong attention to detail A good work ethic Ability to stay calm under pressure A can do, proactive, positive approach. becoming of a small, tight-knit family business Great communication skills Must be able to handle heavy objects, up to 25kg A friendly nature and strong understanding of what good customer service looks like Flexibility Exceptional standards and a desire to be the best Previous delivery experience, especially in the food industry, is an advantage, but not essential
