Delivery Driver /Drayman required to join the Davenports family,

Since 1829 the Davenports brand has delivered beer all over the west midlands area. Based at our brewery and warehouse in Smethwick the successful applicants responsibilities will include

Hours 40 per week

Packing, loading and unloading delivery vans and trucks Maintaining regular communication with route dispatchers Review deliveries with recipients to ensure they're accurate Obtaining delivery confirmations from customers Assisting at the warehouse and backdoor Driving sprinter van sized vehicles.
Delivery Drivers must be courteous and prompt with a commitment to providing customers with a pleasant experience. They must be thorough in making sure products are properly delivered, passionate about making clients satisfied and committed to work safety.

A successful Delivery Driver candidate will have various prerequisite skills and qualifications that typically include

Excellent knowledge of 50-mile radius of Warehouse Good timekeeping skills Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. Friendly and professional demeanor Ability to work with little supervision driver requires - Full UK Car driving license with a maximum of three points - you will be required to drive sprinter sized vans driver requires - Minimum of three years driving experience
