Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required. Deliver packages to designated locations in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy in deliveries. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the delivery vehicle, conducting regular checks for safety. Complete necessary paperwork related to deliveries, including logs and receipts. Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure efficient loading processes and inventory management.

Skills

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role, preferably with commercial driving experience. Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including vans and lorries. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the job. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is advantageous. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
