Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to navigate routes efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and be comfortable with heavy lifting as part of their daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as necessary while ensuring items are secured for transport. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure the delivery van is in good working condition. Assist in warehouse duties when not on deliveries, including inventory management and organisation of stock.

Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or Van Driver is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols is essential. Experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous. Strong communication skills are required to effectively liaise with team members and customers. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the role.
