Welcome to ATA team,

This job is involving deliveries of items as fridges, washing machines for 2 people team and 38kg. max items for 1 person team.
Drivers: You will need your own van at least 3.5t (LWB).
Driver's helpers: Provisional Driver License.

Payments:

1Person Team Driver - 162.80

2People Team Driver Van - 176.80

Driver's Mate - 103.50

20% additional on top of your wages if you are VAT registered.

Weekly payments straight to your bank account Fridays.
One week in arrears.

Working pattern:

Working up to 6 days a week with flexible scheduling (Monday - Saturday and Sunday from April)
Routes planned to be finished within the 9 hours block.
Start time estimative: 2P 6:40am & 1P 6:10am;
No. stops: Variable based on volume, starting from approx. 20-45 stops
Delivery area: 40-75 miles within depo location (but can vary depending on demand).

Fuel:

We cover your business mileage.
Approx. 0.20/mile (business mileage)
Fuel card available if requested.

What You Need:

A full UK or EU driving license - Drivers
Provisional driving license - Helpers
Not more than 6 points on Driver License.
Ability to pass a background check.

Charge of DBS/BGC/BKG check 49.00 (deducted out of 1st payment)

Responsibilities:

Operate a heavy delivery van to transport goods safely and efficiently. Ensure timely delivery of bulky items while adhering to traffic regulations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to maintain safety standards. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and requirements. Handle heavy lifting and loading/unloading of items, ensuring proper handling techniques. Maintain accurate delivery records and manage paperwork as required.

Summary

As a Delivery Driver for Heavy & Bulky items, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries to our customers. This role requires a valid driving license and emphasizes your core driving skills, along with premium experience in delivery and commercial driving. Your ability to handle heavy lifting and maintain effective communication will be essential in managing warehouse operations and providing excellent service.
