We are a busy Pharmacy Hub based in Leicester LE2 6BR. We are looking for a hard working driver to deliver to our patient homes and care homes. The right candidate must be self-motivated, efficient and have a positive attitude to customer care.

Job Overview

:
As a Pharmacy Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of medications to patients at their homes or care facilities. Your role is critical in supporting the health and well-being of our patients by providing a crucial link between our pharmacy and the community we serve.

The hours for our current vacancy is every Monday to Friday 5pm to 9pm each day.

You will need to be flexible with your working hours as during the busy periods, you may be asked to start earlier and finish later, dependent on workloads.

We require someone who is flexible and can cover for staff holidays and sickness at short notice.

If you have previously worked as a pharmacy delivery driver, this would be beneficial, however full training will be provided for the right applicant.

Key Responsibilities

:

Safely and efficiently deliver prescription medications to patients at designated addresses. Provide excellent customer service and handle deliveries in a professional and courteous manner. Ensure all deliveries are completed within the designated time frames. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and obtain signatures or documentation as required. Handle medications with care, ensuring their integrity and confidentiality are maintained. Communicate any delivery issues or delays to the pharmacy promptly. Follow all traffic regulations and ensure the vehicle is well-maintained and clean.
Requirements:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliveries efficiently. Strong communication and customer service skills. Knowledge of the local area and routes is a plus. Previous experience in delivery or courier services is preferred, but not essential. Must be reliable, punctual, and professional.
