Overview

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery while maintaining high standards of customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of the daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as necessary. Communicate effectively with Pharmacy staff and customers. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks. Maintain accurate records of deliveries. Ensuring that stock is organised for efficient delivery. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any queries or concerns during the delivery process.

Skills

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is desirable but not essential. Strong commercial driving skills with a valid driving licence suitable for the vehicle type (e.g., van driver). Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and team members effectively. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
