Job Description
Henllan Bakery is one of the UK's leading independent Craft Wholesale Bakers. With the continued demand for our products across South Wales we are looking for skilled Drivers to join our growing distribution team in a new depot to deliver our products.
The successful candidates will form an integral part of the Transport Department, working to provide excellent customer service for our wide-ranging customer base, which includes retail chains, independent shops, cafes, delis and pubs.
Requirements, Duties & Responsibilities
A confident driver with experience in navigating around the South West Wales region
Have a clean full UK driving license.
Ideally have multi-drop experience.
Be a safe and diligent driver adhering to the highway code and taking pride in the company vehicle they drive.
You will be supported with one to one training for your route.
Your route for the day will be pre-set.
Our drivers deliver to multiple customers each day, you will provide a quality service that builds strong relationships, meets and exceeds customer expectations and on occasion be able to manage difficult conversations in a calm and professional manner, as well as acting as an ambassador for our brand.
You will work a defined rota of 3 mornings a week. Those mornings being Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday including Bank Holiday Weekends.
Your Rota
3 shifts a week.
5:00am start Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday including Bank Holidays
Normally 30 to 40 drops per day
Contracted to 24 hours per week, additional paid hours may be necessary at peak trading times.
