Role:

Bakery Delivery Driver

Delivering freshly baked goods from the bakery and dispersing to a number of shops throughout the East Lancashire area.

Picking, packing, collecting products from the bakery; ensuring they are loaded safely and reach the destination on schedule and in perfect condition. The correct products will be unloaded at each location into the shops ensuring no damage and perfect food items.

Flexibility in the role will be needed from time to time.

Days:

Mon-Fri: 5:30am-12:30pm
Saturday: 5am-8:30am (every third Saturday off)

Requirements:

Full, clean driving licence Smart and professional image Careful driving at all times Self initiative and drive Heavy lifting of food boards Age 25+ due to insurance purposes

Summary

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. Your core skill in driving will be essential, along with your experience in picking and packing. You will also be expected to perform heavy lifting and have effective communication skills to coordinate with shop and bakery staff. Your role is vital in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of produce, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
