The Role

We're looking for a reliable, safety-focused Driver to join our busy logistics team. You'll be the face of Latham's out on the road, delivering our products nationwide while upholding our commitment to quality and customer care.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being on the move, takes pride in their work, and appreciates an early start and an early finish!

Key Responsibilities

Deliver products according to route information provided by the Logistics team. Follow all pre-planned routes accurately and efficiently. Drive safely and adhere to all road laws to maintain a safe, professional operation. Use and maintain delivery equipment correctly, ensuring vehicles and tools are in good condition. Keep the company vehicle clean, fuelled, and well-maintained by completing weekly inspection checklists. Communicate with customers to update them on delivery times and resolve any minor issues professionally. Provide excellent customer service - you'll be representing our business on every delivery. Maintain clear communication with management regarding any route changes, delays, or delivery issues. Complete all delivery paperwork accurately and ensure it's filed daily. Check paperwork for the following day's deliveries and help with loading to ensure a safe, secure load following company guidelines.

About You

You hold a full, clean UK driving licence (minor points considered). You will have had a driving role in the past. You're organised, punctual, and take pride in doing things right. You're confident interacting with customers and can represent Latham's with professionalism and a friendly attitude. You understand the importance of safety, both on the road and during loading/unloading. You enjoy early starts and appreciate being rewarded with early finishes when the job's done!
