Job Title : Courier Drivers (self-employed basis)
Job Ref Sep 14 (L2) Location of Job Kirkby Rate of pay 152 per day Contracted Hours per week 35 to 54
Working Days:
Up to 6 days per week (company operates 7 days a week)Shift Patterns:
Morning Shift: 6:30am - 1:00pm Afternoon Shift: 11:00am - 8:00pm
Maximum of 9 hours on the road per shift 152 for completing a route assigned in a morning.Please read over full details when applying for Driving polices
Key responsibilities
Drive safely and follow all road and company rules Deliver packages securely and on time Be polite and helpful with customers Plan routes to save time and fuel Keep to delivery schedules and deadlines Use devices to track and confirm deliveries Fill out delivery records and report any issues Keep the vehicle clean and report any problems Follow health, safety, and privacy rules
Skills required
Safe driving and confident navigation Good physical strength and stamina Strong time management and organisation Friendly customer service and clear communication
Qualifications required
: No qualifications required,Full UK driving licence over 2 years, full training is paid and will be provided Need to meet insurance policy for driving company vans
Training will be over 3 days, DBS and Drugs and Alcohol tests will be completed
