Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. The successful applicant will have experience in commercial driving and a strong understanding of warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers to coordinate deliveries. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and receipts. Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately. Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries. Assist in warehouse duties when not on delivery runs, including inventory management.

Requirements

Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 30 kg) consistently throughout the day. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is advantageous. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. A good understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
