Duties
Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
Load and unload items, ensuring careful handling to prevent damage.
Follow designated routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
Assist in warehouse duties as required, including heavy lifting and organisation of stock.
Requirements
Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience with driving is advantageous.
Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
