The Chefs Patisserie Co. is a bespoke, handcrafted cake manufacturer based at a purpose built premises in Warrington. We supply a range of luxury patisserie products to the hospitality, events, leisure, corporate and retail industry.

Our growing portfolio of clients include blue chip companies, 4/5hotels, fine dining restaurants, food supply wholesalers and distributors across the UK.
We are not a factory or warehouse operation but a creative and skilled led kitchen production facility producing high quality afternoon tea cakes and desserts to a high standard.

Job Summary

We are currently looking to recruit a flexible Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our team delivering across the UK in our own temperature controlled vehicles (up to LWB size).

Requirements:

Previous experience desirable in a food environment UK driving license with minimum 5 years UK driving experience (no more than 3 points) Competent & experienced driver for short and long distances (national) Good Customer service skills and high level of professionalism Good road network knowledge across the UK Minimum age: 30 years old + for business insurance eligibility Able to start shifts early mornings ranging from 3.00am-4.00am starts. Live locally and within 30 mins from WA5 7YF.
Main Duties;

Conduct daily vehicle safety / hygiene checks Load up as required fragile boxes for frozen /chilled deliveries Use correct equipment to monitor temperatures for storage/transport on vehicles Deliver the products safely and efficiently to key clients All delivery paperwork completed correctly and processed Look after the basic maintenance of vans during shifts General tidying up/cleaning of van Reporting any issues to Manager

The successful candidate will be required to assist when required in our production unit for other duties subject to business demands.

Candidates must adhere to company food safety, health and safety, and fire safety standards. You must also be familiar with up to date driving standards and using Sat Nav / Bluetooth devices competently.

The tasks undertaken do require sitting or standing for long periods, and working in both ambient and cold temperatures, manual lifting is required although this is not heavy goods.

Part-time

from 3 days up to 5 days per week.

The work is between Monday to Saturday, flexibility on weekends is required subject to business demands.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.

Pay: 12.50-12.75 per hour
