Casa Mia is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic

Delivery Driver with Vehicle

to transport our staff, cakes, and equipment to and from market locations. If you love driving, working outdoors, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you! Note: This role involves working independently most of the time, except during organisational and loading/unloading tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Transport staff and equipment from our production kitchen (9 Buslingthorpe Green, Leeds, LS7 2HG) to market locations (e.g., Northallerton, Richmond, Saltaire, Hebden Bridge, Otley, Newcastle) and back. Load equipment between 5:00 AM-7:00 AM and deliver to market destinations (30-50 miles average trip distance). Pick up staff and equipment from markets between 3:00 PM-6:00 PM, returning to Leeds. Assist with loading/unloading equipment and setting up market stalls. Occasionally use Casa Mia's vehicles, though owning a suitable vehicle is required.

Vehicle Specifications:

Must own a van or large vehicle (e.g., panel van, cargo van) with a minimum cargo space of

2.0m length x 1.2m width x 1.2m height

to securely accommodate a closed gazebo (approx. 1.5m x 0.3m x 0.3m when folded), sneeze screens, cool box, cake trays and boxes (typically 30-40cm per side), gazebo weights, equipment and tools, foldable tables (approx. 1.2m x 0.6m when folded), and occasionally a display fridge (approx. 0.8m x 0.5m x 1.0m for big events). Vehicle must be in good condition, suitable for food transport (clean, no strong odours), and have tie-down points for securing items. Clean UK driving licence (minor points considered). Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to work with a fast-paced team and handle physical tasks (loading/unloading). Flexible availability with at least two days' notice for scheduling; some larger events may require longer notice. Positive attitude and reliability.
