Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join the team as a

Driver/Installer

. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading, unloading, delivery, installation, and assembly of products to our customers. You will also assist in general warehouse duties from time to time, helping maintain an organized and efficient working environment. You will be expected to uphold excellent customer service standards, manage your tool kit, and contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and work areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Loading and Unloading:

Load company vehicles in preparation for delivery runs as per run paperwork. Unload stock deliveries at site locations.

Van Driving (up to 3.5t):

Safely drive company vehicles according to planned routes and delivery schedules.

Delivery and Installation:

Deliver, assemble, and install products at customer sites, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.

Customer Liaison:

Serve as the face of the company when interacting with customers on site. Ensure excellent customer service and uphold company customer service expectations.

Assembly of Goods:

Assemble goods within the warehouse as per the requirements outlined by the Logistics Supervisor.

Warehouse Duties:

Support general warehouse operations as needed, such as stock management, picking and packing, and preparing goods for dispatch. Assist the team in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Tool Kit Management:

Ensure your tool kit is maintained to a high standard. Request replacements for any damaged or worn tools in a timely manner from the Logistics Supervisor.

General Housekeeping:

Maintain a tidy workspace, including company vehicles, direct working areas, and across the site. Dispose of rubbish properly in designated bins. Run cardboard through the compactor and sweep floors as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with the ability to drive vehicles up to 3.5t. Experience in delivery and/or installation is highly preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and paperwork. Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor, including heavy lifting. Excellent customer service skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic understanding of warehouse operations and stock management. A commitment to maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.

Pay: 12.26 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
