Keco Energy is seeking a dependable and hardworking Driver / Labourer to join our dedicated team in the North West of England. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our operational and logistical functions, ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of materials and equipment to various sites. This position combines professional driving responsibilities with hands-on labouring duties, contributing to the smooth running of Keco Energy's daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods, materials, and equipment to designated sites across the North West
Load and unload vehicles, ensuring materials are handled with care and in accordance with health and safety standards
Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns promptly
Maintain accurate delivery records, including logs, receipts, and job documentation
Assist site teams and warehouse staff with general labouring duties, including material handling and site preparation
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and road transport regulations
Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery operations
Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience as a driver, ideally within the construction, logistics, or energy sectors
Valid UK driver's licence, with appropriate categories for commercial or goods vehicle operation
Strong understanding of UK road safety laws and regional routes within the North West
Ability to undertake manual handling and physical tasks safely and efficiently
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A proactive and safety-conscious attitude, with strong attention to detail
Previous experience in a labouring or warehouse role is desirable but not essential
