Movers and Cleaners LTD is seeking a Driver in our Cumbernauld location.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 40-50 hours per week , weekends also

GENERAL DISCRIPTION :

Working as part of the Removals Team, this role requires the employee to carry out all aspects of the

Removal process (including packing) from house to house and into and out of store and on commercial premises. It also requires the employee to deliver outstanding customer service at all times.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITY

Be aware of the Company's Quality Standards, and ensure that all work carried out is in accordance
with those procedures.

When acting as DRIVER/Porter/Helper, being responsible for:
? Ensuring that all materials required for the job are loaded onto the vehicle before leaving the yard

? Following all instructions on the job sheet

? Introducing yourself and your team to the customer on arrival at the job, and being the point of

contact for the customer throughout the course of the job.

? Ensuring that the customer's property is protected with the necessary materials (floor, Banister ,

door, sofa covers etc.)

? Recognise those domestic appliances and effects that require specialist attention

? Correct loading of the vehicles

? Advising the Supervisor/Manager of any issues as soon as they arise.

? Advising the customer of any damages that occur as soon as they happen (also taking photographic

evidence if required and report to Supervisor)

? Completing and signing the job sheets at the end of the job and completing gift form (if required)

Adhering to and implementing any health and safety guidelines both on site and on removal jobs. Lift, carry and manoeuvre furniture and effects (including carpets and floor coverings) in a safe
manner and so avoiding damage to the furniture or yourself.

Use mechanical aids (e.g. trolleys, sack barrows, ropes , straps , ladders, etc.), keeping safety in mind
at all times.

Preparing and checking inventories if goods are being moved into storages. Ensure issued uniform is worn at all times, and that you always present a neat and tidy appearance
to the customer.

Ensure the security of customer's furniture and effects at all times. Carry out the packing of household items using the correct materials and labelling as appropriate. Dismantle furniture, using tools as and when required. Assist with warehouse duties as and when required. Look after and keep clean all Company vehicles , equipment and tools (vehicles must be cleaned
inside every day and outside every week).

Carry out daily vehicle checks for any company vehicle you are working in. Spend nights away from home on a regular basis as the job demands.
Experience in moving industry or courier services can be and advantage for the applicants.

English language need to be fluent talking and read .

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 120.00-140.00 per day
