Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent driving skills, effective communication, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as necessary.

Duties

Operate a delivery van efficiently and safely while adhering to all traffic regulations. Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any maintenance needs promptly. Assist in the storage facility when not on deliveries.

Skills

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong driving skills with a valid driver's licence; experience as a van driver is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards is beneficial. Experience in storage facility operations is a plus, contributing to overall efficiency in the delivery process.
