Role Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and reliable individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver & Warehouse Operative over the summer months, and potentially beyond. This dual-role position requires a motivated self-starter who is comfortable taking responsibility for a variety of tasks, including delivering tableware to clients in a van, managing stock in the warehouse, cleaning the tableware on it's return and ensuring our operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Driver Duties:
Safely transport tableware to and from client locations.
Load and unload deliveries, ensuring all items are handled with care.
Maintain excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing client questions or concerns.
Warehouse Operative Duties:
Inspect, clean, and pack tableware for upcoming events.
Organize and maintain the warehouse to ensure stock is easily accessible.
Track inventory and report any shortages or damages.
Assist in quality control checks to uphold our high standards.
Requirements:
A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
Prior experience in delivery driving and/or warehouse operations is advantageous.
Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items when necessary.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in deliveries and inventory management.
Friendly and professional demeanor with a commitment to excellent customer service.
