Job Description

Duties:

- Delivering and collecting products in South and West Yorkshire and North Derbyshire, and other UK locations as required, in a safe manner following all laws and rules of driving

- Keeping accurate records of deliveries

- Keeping all company vehicles clean and well-maintained, including daily, weekly and monthly vehicle checks

- Informing management if any obstructions to make safe, efficient deliveries on time

- Off-loading and loading of goods

- Informing the relevant department of any concerns regarding the condition of products

- Feed-back ideas for improvements from observations of other companies

- When not driving, general warehouse duties as required (previous experience in a steel industry-related warehouse is therefore desirable)

- Maintenance of the building and property grounds

- Informing Management of any health and safety issues

- Locking the Warehouse

Successful candidates should:

- Have a full, clean driving license

- Ideally have a fork-lift truck license

- Be courteous with good communication skills

- Be physically fit and able to work under pressure

- Have good attention to detail and be able to work to written and verbal instructions

Please note that due to restrictions imposed by our insurance provider, we can only accept applications from people over the age of 25.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 9am-5pm (including hour break)

Salary: 23,985 per year
