Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver / Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves both warehouse duties and delivery responsibilities, ensuring that products are efficiently loaded, transported, and delivered to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and be comfortable with heavy lifting and operating various warehouse equipment.

Duties

Load and unload products from delivery vehicles, ensuring safe handling of items. Operate box trucks and other vehicles for route driving to deliver goods to customers. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments. Utilise warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for efficient movement of products. Assist in organising the warehouse, ensuring that inventory is properly stored and accessible. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation. Collaborate with team members to meet delivery schedules and maintain workflow efficiency.

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission is a plus. Experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly desirable. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks throughout the day. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Familiarity with operating forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous.
