Job Description

Role: Delivery Engagement Manager

The Delivery Engagement Manager has a dual focus, successful project delivery and strong client engagement and relationships. This role bridges the gap between project delivery and client engagement & satisfaction. Key to the role is managing expectations, team members and project timelines as well as facilitating collaboration through communication and organisational skills throughout the engagement.

Primary Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning

Collaborate with clients to develop strategies aligned with their business goal, including providing insights and recommendations for improvements. Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.
Project Planning and Strategy

Define project goals, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource needs, dependencies, and budgets. Align project objectives with overall strategies and business goals.
Team Coordination and Leadership

Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members across departments (e.g. creative, digital, content, technology). Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams. Motivate and guide the team to meet project milestones and deadlines. Act as a delivery lead for multiple concurrent projects while mentoring junior staff or freelancers where required.
Client Relationship & Stakeholder Management

Be a key contact between client and internal teams (If supported by Account Management). Otherwise, be the primary contact with the client. Understand clients' goals, needs, challenges, and expectations. Build trust and long-term relationships with clients. Manage client expectations and stakeholders. Provide regular updates and reporting, aligned to projects and engagement. Resolve conflicts quickly. Lead regular client check-ins, QBRs, and post-project reviews to assess satisfaction and identify improvement opportunities.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting

Monitor delivery/campaign performance using KPIs and analytics tools. Prepare detailed reports on results and present them to clients. Use data to suggest optimisations for future campaigns. Track and report on key metrics such as client satisfaction, delivery efficiency, and margin.
Risk Management

Identify potential risks and apply mitigations or solutions to resolve. Maintain a Risk & Issues log through project delivery lifecycle. Proactively communicate risks and dependencies to stakeholders and escalate when needed.
Financial Oversight

Manage budgets for client engagements, ensuring efficient use of resources. Oversight of client invoices, revenue and profitability. Handle any financial change control, negotiations or adjustments. Collaborate with Project Management/Leads on estimations, planning and budget (Revenue/Margin). Support commercial forecasting and contribute to account planning alongside the finance team.
Process Improvements

Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes. Implement a continuous improvement philosophy throughout the engagement. Champion best practices in delivery operations and share learnings across teams.
Know Your Market

Keep abreast of industry trends, tools, and best practices to provide clients with innovative solutions. Educate clients about new marketing strategies and technologies (particularly those we offer) that could benefit their business. Host regular updates on market trends, initiatives and innovations to develop relationships, identify opportunities and build the Pure Brand.
Essential Skills for a Delivery Engagement Manager

Strong project delivery process and methodology understanding. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good organisation skills and teamwork/building approach. Adept at problem-solving. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Sales and negotiation capabilities. Budget /Finance Control. Experience managing digital/marketing projects in a client-facing role. Familiarity with project and collaboration tools (e.g., Trello, Monday.com)

Pay: 27,177.21-40,000.00 per year
