Overview

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Delivery Helper to join our logistics team. This role involves assisting with the delivery and distribution of goods, ensuring timely and safe transportation to clients. The ideal candidate will have some experience in delivery or warehouse environments, possess strong communication skills, and be comfortable with heavy lifting. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in commercial driving and logistics operations within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the driver in loading and unloading goods from the lorry, ensuring items are handled safely and efficiently Support with the organisation and verification of delivery orders prior to dispatch Help with the safe transportation of goods to various locations, adhering to all safety regulations Communicate effectively with clients upon delivery, confirming receipt and addressing any concerns Assist in maintaining accurate records of deliveries and pickups Perform general warehouse duties such as organising stock and preparing items for dispatch Support the driver in navigating routes and managing delivery schedules

Experience

Previous experience in delivery driving or warehouse work is preferred Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks Good communication skills, capable of liaising professionally with clients and team members Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety procedures is advantageous
This role is vital for ensuring smooth logistical operations, providing valuable support to our delivery team, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Pay: 50.00-70.00 per day
