We have an exciting opportunity for a Delivery Lead Team Leader to join our Technology team.


As our Delivery Lead Team Leader, your role involves effective communication, leadership, advocating for continuous improvement within an agile environment. You'll collaborate closely with the engineering delivery teams and engage with cross-functional teams in technology to ensure successful project/product delivery within an agile framework.


You will also provide line management for the delivery lead team which includes but not limited to the mentoring, coaching and pastoral care of team members.


This role will be a fixed term contract for a period up to 18 months.

The Role

Key Responsibilities:



Strategic Leadership

: Support the development and execution of a clear vision and roadmap aligned with organisational and technology strategies.

Team Leadership & Development

: Lead, mentor, and support team members, promoting a collaborative and inclusive culture focused on growth and performance.

Agile Delivery

: Champion agile practices (Scrum, Kanban), drive iterative delivery, and continuously evolve ways of working to enhance team effectiveness.

Stakeholder Collaboration

: Work closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, and Business Analysts to prioritise work and ensure successful delivery of projects.

Quality & Governance

: Ensure high standards in software delivery, safe deployments, and adherence to data privacy, security, and risk management practices.

Continuous Improvement

: Promote the use of agile metrics, retrospectives, and Communities of Practice to drive innovation and optimise delivery pipelines.

About You




You'll have significant experience in people and team coaching, IT software, and a high level of understanding of agile delivery methods and agile SDLC frameworks.


The successful applicant will have:

Experience delivering technology products and services across multiple teams Experience of facilitating delivery via multi-disciplinary teams Experience of implementing an agile delivery framework or similar Experienced in line management and pastoral care A familiarity with agile and waterfall methodologies A Technical background Good coaching and mentoring skills Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical language for a non-technical audience Good relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and challenge people inclusively
