About Bauer Energy

Bauer Energy is driving the transition to cleaner transport by delivering innovative, reliable, and scalable Electric Vehicle Charging Point (EVCP) infrastructures. Through our EVCP Solutions division, we partner with clients, landlords, and network operators to design, install, and maintain high-quality charge point networks that enable a sustainable energy future. We're an Independent Connection Provider (ICP) accredited company, bringing technical expertise and operational excellence to every project -- from planning and grid coordination through to installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance.

The Role

As part of our growing team, you'll play a key role in scaling delivery capability across the UK, ensuring our EVCP projects are delivered safely, effi ciently, and to the highest standards.
The Delivery / Operations Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of EVCP infrastructure projects, ensuring installations are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
You will manage the operational delivery function -- coordinating with internal teams, external contractors, DNOs, and clients -- to deliver projects effi ciently and drive continuous improvement in Bauer Energy's operational performance.
This role suits a hands-on, organised, and commercially aware delivery professional with a strong background in utilities, construction, or EV charging, ideally within an ICP environment.

Key Deliverables

Oversee the full lifecycle of EVCP delivery projects, from design handover to commissioning and client sign-off. Translate project scopes and designs into executable delivery plans with clear timelines, budgets, and milestones. Manage day-to-day operations across multiple live sites, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to programme requirements. Coordinate internal and external stakeholders (survey, civils, electrical, DNOs, ICP teams, OEMs) to ensure seamless delivery. Oversee permits, notices, and wayleaves required for installation and grid connection. Work closely with ICP and DNO teams to secure and manage grid connections, ensuring compliance with all technical and regulatory standards. Manage pre-construction reviews, including feasibility assessments, site readiness, and technical validation. Support the preparation of design packs, RAMS, and as-built documentation for ICP sign-off. Ensure that all installations meet IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671), G99/G100 standards, and manufacturer requirements. Promote and enforce a strong Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) culture across all projects.

What We're Looking For

Essential

Proven experience managing multi-site infrastructure or utilities projects, ideally in EV charging, ICP, power distribution, or telecoms. Strong understanding of civils, electrical installation, and grid connection processes. Working knowledge of DNO coordination, ICP requirements, and G99/G100 applications. Demonstrable experience with CDM regulations, H&S management, and site compliance. Excellent organisational, planning, and communication skills. Competent in MS Project (or similar), Excel, and project reporting tools.
Desirable

Experience working within an Independent Connection Provider (ICP) or DNO environment. Knowledge of EV charger OEM systems and OCPP protocols. NEBOSH / IOSH certification or equivalent. SMSTS / SSSTS qualified. Degree or qualification in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially aware. Strong team player and confident communicator at all levels. Solutions-driven mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
