We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. Duties

Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and lorries, in a safe and efficient manner. Load and unload goods, ensuring all items are handled with care and securely stored. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. Perform routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Assist in warehouse duties as required, including inventory management and organisation of stock. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred. Ability to lift heavy items safely, as some deliveries may require heavy lifting. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a warehouse environment is advantageous. Must be organised and able to manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules. A good understanding of local roads and traffic patterns is beneficial.
