The Role

As a

Warehouse & Delivery Operative

, you'll play a vital part in both warehouse operations and on-the-road deliveries. From receiving stock and organising goods to helping install furniture and white goods in customers' homes, you'll ensure every step of the process runs smoothly and professionally. No two days are the same, and your work will have a direct, positive impact on peoples lives.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, check, and safely store furniture and goods Keep the warehouse tidy, well-organised, and efficient Use warehouse systems and handheld tech to manage stock Prepare items for delivery, conduct stock counts, and manage recycling/waste Support and lead by example for volunteer workers Load and secure items for delivery Deliver, install, and assemble furniture and white goods in homes nationwide Communicate professionally with customers, including pre-arrival calls Ensure safe use and return of equipment, and follow up on failed deliveries

Skills and Experience:

Experience in a warehouse or customer-facing environment Ability to lift and move heavy items safely Competence with handheld tech and basic DIY tools Strong attention to detail A calm, positive attitude with great teamwork and communication skills Manual Handling (essential) FLT Licence (desirable) Banksman Training (desirable)
