Delivery Driver - Removals Team (Edinburgh)
Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and motivated
Porter
to join our dynamic removals team based inEdinburgh
. This role involves driving aLoading and unloading a Van
, so astrength and fitness is required
.The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to
customer service
, good communication skills, and the ability to navigate efficiently while ensuringsafe and timely deliveries
. You should also be comfortable withheavy lifting
.You must be able to communicate effectively with both the office and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver goods to various locations promptly and professionally Load and unload items carefully to avoid damage Communicate clearly with customers regarding delivery times or delays Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures and any issues Perform routine vehicle checks and report maintenance needs Work with office staff to ensure efficient loading and inventory coordination
Requirements:
Physically fit - able to lift and carry heavy items Strong communication skills Positive, problem-solving attitude Reliable and punctual Willing to learn
