Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations Load and unload goods, including heavy lifting as required Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any issues encountered Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading of goods Report any vehicle maintenance needs or accidents immediately

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable A valid driving licence is essential; experience driving a commercial vehicle is an advantage Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the role Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and colleagues
