Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for on time delivery, within established costs and ensure a "delivery experience" in line with ASTB premium positioning. To assist with the day to day operations within the warehouse, ensuring all the warehouse procedures are followed correctly in the distribution and storage of ASTB products.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely load, transport, and deliver high-end furniture to customer locations, ensuring all items are handled with care. Assemble and install furniture at client sites according to specifications and client preferences. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any questions or concerns during the delivery process. Work as part of a 2-man delivery team to complete deliveries efficiently and on time. Assist in warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and preparing furniture for dispatch. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both in the warehouse and on-site. Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately and promptly.

Requirements:

Previous experience in furniture delivery or installation is highly desirable. Capable of lifting and handling heavy items. A valid driving license (clean) is essential and over the age of 25. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to work well in a team and under pressure. Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings weekends.

Pay: From 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
