Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a . The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, preferably with experience in delivery driving and commercial driving. This role involves transporting goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining high standards of safety and communication throughout the process.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a vehicle to deliver goods to various locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and storage to prevent damage. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance. Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules and requirements. Adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies while on the road. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock. Handle heavy lifting as required when loading or unloading goods.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver is essential, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in commercial driving roles. Familiarity with Building materials would be advantageous Proven ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective interactions with clients and team members. A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type is required.
