We are seeking a dedicated and reliable van delivery driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivery driving, with experience in commercial driving and warehouse operations. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily duties. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient deliveries while maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities

Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory, ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly. Communicate effectively with team members and customers to provide updates on delivery status. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Assist in warehouse operations, including stock management and organisation of goods.

Experience

Commercial driving experience is highly desirable but not essential, along with familiarity with warehouse environments. Proven ability to handle heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and customers alike. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
