Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver. This role is essential for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers. Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring the timely delivery of goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, performing heavy lifting as required. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any issues encountered during transit. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and stock replenishment.

Requirements

Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial vehicles is an advantage. Familiarity with warehouse operations and processes is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) on a regular basis. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and customers. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence.
