Job Description

Slick Transport have the opportunity for a Part-time driver to join our team for December 2025 onwards.

You will be driving one of our fleet of Mercedes Sprinters around a set route with no more than 25 stops per day, and a maximum of 25kg per parcel. We are mainly looking for weekend drivers but have work available during weekdays in addition to this.

We are providing work on a self-employed basis; this allows you flexibility to fit our work around your other work and commitments to suit your needs. We take care of the fuel, insurance and maintenance of the fleet so you can concentrate on the driving.

Previous delivery driving experience is preferred but not essential. We provide comprehensive training before you are on the road by yourself and offer plenty of support to enable you to succeed.

Key Points

- Weekend work with additional weekdays available, (set days can be negotiated if preferred)

- Start time is either 5.30 or 6.45am depending on route, we try and keep drivers to a set routine but this may vary between 5am-7.30am in future

- Based on a 10hr working day - you can clock out earlier as long as all duties are completed

- Multi-drop work: Maximum 25 stops per day delivering and collecting small parcels from shops and parcel lockers

- Overtime available

- 130 - 160 per day

- Weekly pay (2 weeks in arrears)

Requirements

- Full UK Driving Licence - held for minimum 1 year with a maximum of 6 penalty points

- English speaking to a basic minimum level and the right to work in UK

- Ability to commute to BS32 - Bristol

- Ability to lift up to 25KG

- Ability to use an android based handheld scanner
