About the role - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
This is a UK Based position with potential to support other European Markets as Haleon rolls out Integrated Business Planning beyond GBI. The successful candidate will have a meaningful supporting role on the IBP implementation project whilst also being able to help the team support its ongoing performance objectives in business execution and the day-to-day Core Commercial cycle
Key responsibilities

  • Will be opportunities to monitor and analyse demand drivers such as seasonality, consumer trends, economic factors, and market dynamics as well as review the outputs of our key commercial cycle meetings and optimally add enrichments into the planning system
  • Support the Team in the forecast builds in the regimented Planning Calendar in the new APS System
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of all components of the Demand Forecast, statistical baseline, promotion and repacking uplifts, and cannibalization
  • Prepare and conduct SKU Analysis, and recommend SKUs requiring enrichment compared to no touch forecasts (baseline forecast only)
  • Define, develop and test potential new (global) driver for AI/ML supported forecasting models in cooperation with data science hub and Demand Planer.
  • Manage product segmentation to ensure SKUs are grouped to optimise model performance and accuracy, as well as to enable consistent planning.
  • Collaborate with Continuous Improvement Team to identify the gap on current process and methodologies for continuous improvement, enhance forecast accuracy and efficiency.
  • Driving a better understanding of KPI forecast accuracy and forecast bias metrics across demand team through analyst support and shared with business stakeholders. Root Cause Analysis / Continuous improvement
Qualifications and skills
Essential
  • Strong analytical and attention to detail skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Ability to work at pace in line with the regimented planning calendar and adapt to changing priorities
  • Some experience in demand planning within the FMCG industry or a related field
  • Consumer / Customer first and business growth mind set
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely
  • Ability to work independently and build cross-functional partnerships across the team and with our business partners
  • Digital Literacy
Preferred
  • Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, statistics, economics, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Flexibility to travel / visit European Markets
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and forecasting techniques, familiarity with statistical tools such as SAP, Oracle, O9, PowerBI, etc.
